This course is an advanced introduction to major research topics in social psychology. Students will read and critically evaluate classic and contemporary empirical studies, with a focus on how social psychological knowledge is produced. The course emphasizes research design, methodological strengths and limitations, replication, preregistration, measurement validity, and open science practices. Students will develop skills for assessing research evidence and integrating insights across multiple studies.
